Detravious Jamari Brinkley

Bio

From a rural city in Georgia called Thomson in McDuffie County, I'm a Kingdom Man seeking to fulfill my Kingdom purpose - Share the Gospel of JESUS. See Mount Moriah's Brotherhood Prayer Call. This page represents the collection of (1) Good Morning readings, (2) Daily Devotional, (3) Prayer of the Day, and the (4) Closing Brotherhood motto.

FitTo

In 2018 at Claflin University, I started my FitToCode brand; now, I'm rebranding into the FitTo hub, with FitToJesus and FitToCode. Find it all at fitto.help -- yes, ".help" is a real domain extension lol.

Problem: Patients lack accessible, self-service health screenings outside traditional clinics.

Solution: Autonomous mobile health clinics using computer vision for navigation and non-invasive face scans for pulse, temperature, and other vitals.

Contribution:

  • Led Perception & Navigation: CV models (detection, tracking, segmentation) in Python, OpenCV, TensorFlow; evaluated CARLA; taught CV to 7 interns.
  • Led Biomedical: implemented 3 facial pulse estimation models, standardized time-series data with pandas/NumPy.
  • Recruited and onboarded 22+ interns across 5 teams.
  • Ran 300+ customer discovery interviews (NSF I-Corps, Min Family Challenge) contributing to $200K raised.

Christian Therapy

Problem: Patients and providers both face friction in mental health care - long wait times, limited availability, insurance complexity, no support between sessions, and rare values alignment for faith-oriented patients.

Solution: Rapha (Exodus 15:26) is a faith-based, value-aligned digital mental health platform connecting patients to providers, with between-session tools (AI check-ins, mood tracking, journaling) and provider support (credentialing, billing, telehealth).

Contribution:

  • Backend database architecture and web security.
